It all started over a cup of coffee with a couple of furniture veterans who had an idea. An idea we could do things better with a nimble approach to supply chain and focused approach on quality and design. That idea became Simii.

In our opinion most furniture manufacturers weren’t serving the rapidly-emerging architectural need to furnish spaces specifically designed to express brand and personality while honoring budget realities. Uninspired knockoffs were flooding the affordable furniture market but highly-designed furniture was over-exposed and over-priced.

The opportunity was apparent – expressive, affordable, durable furniture.
